New member-intro myself

Just acquired my first-ever diesel.
1995 F-350 XLT 4X2 DRW 7.3L Turbo with KT Performance 6-position chipset, E04D w. 2 coolers, 4.10 rear end, 3" exhaust.
Truck has 191,000 miles, records show had tranny rebuild at 135K, coolers added after rebuild per previous owner.
We bought to pull our (also newly acquired) 2002 Kountry Star 35LKSA 5th wheel @ GVWR 16250/UVW 12,680
I've joined this site for it's members experience and resources.
I am handy, but not a mechanic. I've no special skills;no special tools past the usual stuff in a 3 drawer tool box.
The past owner was a certified Ford mechanic at a dealership so this truck is currently in very good mechanical condition. I'd like to keep it that way and will use this site as a diagnostic resource when issues arise.
I plan on doing my own oil and filter changes. Previous owner used Deka, I've bought 5 gal of Rotella T for it's first oil change; plan on using the motorcraft oil filter.
Fuel filter is coming up (according to previous owner) on 10K miles and he suggested a change then.
We are in northern Indiana where the winters can be cold, but the last few were mild with only a few days in the teens degrees.
The truck is not garaged.
Thats my info and purpose here. Thanks to all who help along the way. I will try not to waste your time and help when I can.
Thanks.

TY Bob for the welcome. Pics of the truck are on my profile somewhere...I don't understand how this all works...but put 3 in an album or gallery and 2 in a garage somewhere.

Very nice truck! I'm not really sure how pictures work here either. I usually use a free service like Photobucket or Google Picasa to host my pics, then post the link here.

Good luck with the new truck, and camper!
