she is lacking power... but why???

So I have a 96 f150 with an aode trans and the 5.0. i been working on this truck for well over 3 years now and i finally got her running and driving on the road. I just seem like she is stuggling with the power. I remember being able to do burn outs and take a turn sides ways with my head hanging out the window without a care in the world before i tore her apart. Now it feels like i am hauling a ton of bricks.

I replaced...

Plugs
Wires
Air filter
New trans fluid
oil has been changed
new tps
new coil

it sounds like there was some kind of back pressure popping coming from her when she was downshifting. Engine runs like a champ but like i said as soon as i start to drive it feels SLUGISH. yeah thats the perfect way to explain it. very slugish. I can get where i am going but it just seem like she is working harder to get there then what it use to be any ideas?

checked the fuel pressure and compression 2 weeks ago when i was having problems getting it started. Those were all within spec. Whats my timing suppose to be. My obd2 scanner tells me the timing while its running so i can go check that real quick

What psi did you get? Timing should be 10*BTDC with spout removed.

Brakes dragging? You are in ohio, shiz gets frozen up with rust here after 3 years. Have you driven faster cars in the last 3 years. Maybe your used to a faster ride, and while your truck was down, you focused on the glory days of whipping it sideways without a care. in reality, your truck may of never been fast. and maybe those burnouts and whippings may have of been pure luck and special occasions such as wet pavement, or smooth pavement, ect. I myself look back on cars in my past, that i thought at the time were fast, but now, they were pooches compared to what i drive now.
