1950's-60's ford school bus

So I was given on old ford d700 school bus with a 332 y block. I am scraping the bus, wondering if those 332's are boat anchors or if its worth dropping it out?

332 (and 302) are Lincoln derived Y blocks, installed in misc 1956/63 500 and larger series trucks.

279 & 317 are also Lincoln derived Y blocks, were installed in misc 1952/55 500 and larger series trucks.

D700: 1960's C700 (C Series Tilt Cab) with a Dagenham I-6 diesel engine.

B Series: Open Drive-Away (Chassis & Cowl and Cowl & Windshield) School Busses. Front fenders, grille and etc same as F500/750.

Just a guess on my part, but would think getting parts for it would be an issue.

No **** Sherlock! All the parts are obsolete, very hard to find.
A member of FTE was looking for rod/main bearings, rings, seals and an overhaul gasket set for a 332.

Said he tried autoparts stores and when he mentioned the engine size, the parts clucks were either clueless or said it's an FE engine (332 FE available 1958/60).

I found all the obsolete parts at Green Sales and at a dealer in SC, member bought them.
