Head Light problem
A good friend mine has a F450 2000 work truck and has a problem with the head lights.. When he turns the ignition on to start the engine (without starting the engine) his head lights come on .. any ideas? thx

My automatic headlights do that.

I believe you can unplug the drl relay infront of the left batt.to control manually ,it worked on my 01f350.

I didn't think that the 2000 yr models had the drl ?? Correct me if I am wrong.

My LATE '99 had the DRL option, I don't care for them, so I unplugged them, thats probably what the deal is with the F450 of the OPs friend.......

Canadian trucks are mandated to have DRL's. Is it a northern truck eh?
