hi i have a 1989 ford ranger xlt that needs a moter it has a 2.3 in it with a 4 speed with overdrive so to me its a 5 speed. what moter will bolt in thats bigger? im looking to lower and make it fast what can i put in it that will be good for what im going to do with it? thank you

 

V-6 4.0 or change a few things for a 302ci. Changing rear end gears in the diff. up for highway or down for street is also an option.
