Turn signal mirrors (Built in LED) Thoughts?

I have been looking to add LED turn signals to my 55 but didnt find anything <br>on the forums. I found a few on ebay that look ok.<br><br>

Has anyone installed these? Or seen any other setups?<br><br>

There's certainly nothing wrong with having turn signals in the mirrors. Two things come to mind seeing your options; 1) the way the cabs on our trucks angle so sharply forward (the 53-56 perhaps not as bad as the 48-52) car mirrors that mount close on the doors can't see around the cab corner, and 2) the 'peep mirrors' shown are useless to see anything out of. They're too small and were introduced strictly to conform to the letter of the law requiring side view mirrors. If you can find a suitable substitute, go for it.

I agree the peep mirrors do nothing for me. I jut wish they were 6'' mirrors on the first set with a different base. I could modify the base and re-chrome if I really wanted to.
