Please explain how you guy got enough clearance to be able to cut off the exhaust nuts. Obviously remove wheel/wheel well,but did you guys lift motor? Remove starter and or ac compressor?

Im working on my 5.4 98 Expedition(pass side),using an angle die grinder but cant find the room.

My last step is just to call my buddy over and plasma cut the manifold into peices to get access.

 

What I used 2000 5.4 f150

 

What kind of bits are those? Did you lift motor or remove anything?

This post is when I had to cut off my manifolds to put on headers

 

How long did it take you to grind then off?

 

If I remember right it was about an hour and a half a side, I had to cut off the flange studs as well
