Any Thanksgiving weekend projects?

Figured with the decent weather I would take advantage of it and install a stealth EGR cooler. 1 hour later...

I'll call it a night and hit it hard again tomorrow. Just curious if anyone else has some projects going on?

Not going to work on my powerstroke, but I am going to work on my 77 f150. Just got my new headers today. Going to install team tomorrow or maybe Friday. I can't believe the nice weather we r having. No snow not even cold yet and I'm in Colorado. Lol

Northern Colorado here. I kept debating whether to take Friday off to do an EGR delete and went ahead and rolled the dice a couple weeks ago and put in for it.

I guess I lucked out. Got a head start after work today, should be done by noon tomorrow and have a free Friday to putz around.

I'm starting a Fluid Film application as undercoating this morning. As I wait for the rinse to dry, I'm reading up on the high-idle mod. Tomorrow I'm going to do a coolant flush with VC9 and replace the unknown coolant with Cat ELC. I also have to track down a slight coolant seepage issue caused by my Sinister Diesel coolant filter install at one of the hose clamp locations on the degas return line.

I'm in southern Colorado... Parts arrived from Tousley last night... Gonna be doing trackbar, ball joint, and steering dampener for my front end, followed by two new tires that arrived from tread wright on Tuesday and an alignment.

If I can afford the coolant I may also do a coolant flush (haven't done one yet since I bought the truck a month ago) and install a new thermostat, my blue spring (still in the box) and my coolant filter ( still in the box).

Happy thanksgiving folks! Josh I'm not wrenching on my 6.0 today, but I will be wrenching on my 59 F100 4x4 custom Cab. New brake and clutch hydraulics, lines, hoses. Cheers

Undercoat project is finished. I used a cheap undercoat gun I bought for $20. I ended up using a whole gallon of Fluid Film.

Bullitt, you know how to do a oil cooler on our powerstrokes? I'm in Wellington. I need a oil cooler install but sacred to death to do it myself. Lol

It isn't very hard. I found the hardest part was getting the y-pipe clamp loose and then getting the y-pipe cinched up during install.

Srmastertech on YouTube has a good video of the process, although he removes a lot more stuff than necessary.
