Who was looking for nice 1966 Box Floor?
Because my Eco Project will not allow me to use my box the way it is I am going to have to remove the box floor. Before I do I wanted to give a heads up it would be avail. Reason I am putting it here is if there is no interest my removal method will be completely different!
In other words it will be a "quick" removal method
A shame really to have to cut this box up. I already sent two nice boxes to the crusher so am hoping someone will want this one and step up to the plate.
Either that or maybe I could find 2 nice bedsides for my Eco Project and sell this complete bed assy.
I cleaned up a spot to show absolutely no rust on bed.
Another thought would be to cut out 6" or so sections for use in repairing front of another bed. And yes all cross members are super nice as are the wood spacers.

Very nice bed but I can't imagine anyone being close enough to get the whole thing. Especially, in my case, where there is only a small section of rust through at the front corner behind the driver. It has been effectively halted to a 1" deep x 2 1/2" long area. I could live with it since there was no way to get a correct pattern piece for my 65.

Usually a 150.00 minimum for truck freight . . .
Bummer too as probably will cut it out. If that happens will try to save the floor best I can.
Because I need to raise the floor on eco project I could probably just cut the wheel houses down low then across the flat panels for and aft of wheelhouses and drill out spot welds on the ends. That would pretty much save the floor.
I need to raise the box floor 6" and shorten box 2" to make it work on the eco.
Truely a HUGE undertaking.
I am sure you could find someone going across the country to haul it.
I still have the nice cab floor pans out of this truck too. Was hoping someone could use those as the cab mounts are still attached.
