"99"RangerXLT,3.0, 5speed cv axle andmanul locking hub problems
The shaft that runs through the drivers front wheel hub is not connected to any thing. I'm missing the locking hub and I believe everything that goes with it. I mean the gears in the wheel hub,the C clip,and I'm guessing the spindle nut.my question is this,what all comes with the manual locking hubs when u buy them new. Also my truck was converted from an auto lock to the manual lock it is now. Any advice would be appreciated....

the F-150's from 97 on has a 1 piece bearing/hub that the CV shaft ride's in and its always locked, no unlocking at the hub, but at the differential it has a vacuum activated lock that sends vacuum to move a actuator shaft when you engage the 4wd so that it locks in, similar idea to the old style 4wd just on the other end of the shaft, but it just keeps you from turning the front R&P and drive-shaft when it's not engaged
