Need Advice: What Do I Fix While I There Tranny Removal
So after several months of searching for the perfect 7.3, I finally found one. Single owner 2002, 2X4, crew cab, Lariat with less than 100K. I bought it on Thursday and it broke on Monday!
The starter bolts backed out and I broke the bell housing adapter. The question I have is what else do I repair or replace while the tranny is out? I don't want to be stranded and out the money for something I could have done while the mechanic is in there.
Thanks in advance.

How deep is your pocket?
Good time to do:
JW or BTS tranny;
bellowed up-pipes;
upgrade the sound & heat shielding on the firewall;
4 or 5" turbo back exhaust fitment - plenty of room to be able to make some cab floor adjustments to fit your chosen DP in without having to dent the DP to do it.
