Confused on right blinker not working on trailer

OK, I have running lights on the trailer, it is a 20' cargo trailer, elec brakes, it also has a 12 battery on the trailer, etc.. Well, I noticed today that the right blinker is not working. I tested the light and it is ok. I disconnected the trailer and wanted to test the truck where you plug in the trailer. I discovered (based on FTE diagrams) that the 7 way connector has a blade at 3 o'clock that should be the right blinker. The 9 o'clock is the left blinker. When I turn the left on, I get the pulse when I test with a test light. When I do the right I get nothing. I tried to find a fuze diagram but the truck works fine, so not sure where to look next? any ideas?

The connector to the truck behind the 7 way plug is tight, no breaks, etc...

Thanks for your help ahead of time.

Do you know if the trailer connector is a factory option?

Here are the Ford wiring diagrams for the Trailer/Camper adapter, but they won't be of much use if the trailer plug is aftermarket:

Darn it.... Thanks for the wiring diagram, diagrams printed, and saved. I did find a 7.5 fuse in the power dist. block blown (under the hood). The good news is it fixed it, the bad news is now I just wonder "why".... LOL, why would it blow, do I have a wire somewhere that is grounding, blah blah. Anyway, sorry to have taken your time.

It may not be a big deal. I've blown a few over the years and just replace and drive on. If it does it regularly, look for chafed wires or some such. Good luck.

Like Rusty said you might have a chaffed wire somewhere on the trailer that is grounding when u hit a bump just right. Mine did the same thing awhile back & I finally found the bad spot & taped it up, been fine since. Wouldnt lose any sleep over it until it gets to where the fuse blows a lot.

When I got my truck, the right turn and marker light fuses were both blown. I replaced them and havent had problems since (7+ years now). Could have been something as stupid as a lamp blowing and taking a fuse with it. Just carry spare fuses with you in case it happens again. I have a set of ATC and ATM fuses for a just in case situation.

The problem is usually on the trailer wiring. I've seen many a trailer with shoddy wiring or improperly installed wiring....truck side of wiring is rarely rubbing/chaffing on these trucks. You pull one of those trailers with crappy wiring, and you will blow your fuses.
