08 Edge with a hesitation going up hill

My sister has a 2008 Ford Edge with 62,00 miles on it. Every time she drives it up a slight hill it hesitates for a second like the trans is slipping or its not getting gas.

Anyone else had this issue?

I think its the transmission and all wheel drive that causes this. Our 2008 Edge does this too.
