295/75r16 on stock 00X

I'm sure this has been asked a bunch of times but hear goes again. Will 295/75r16 fit my stock rims & stock suspension on my 00 X? It's has 275/75r16 load D's they are worn & feel squishy cornering. Looking at 295/75r16 Toyo Open Country A/T II's they will be load ranger E. Thanks in advance and sorry for beating a dead horse with this question.

Those sizes don't sound like LT or light truck tires, are they? You can't use passenger tires on those trucks.

285's will go if it hasn't knocked the bumpstops off on the front yet

Yes they are LT tires 10 ply load range E. Tread deopt has them listed and there specs. The Toyo Open Country A/T II's have good reveiws every where I looked. Might just go with the good old 285/75r16 load range E's.

That will work, I have had d's and c's but I will only run e's now because I like the way they hold the road and I can air them up to 60 pounds and they are very safe.

Stick with the 285s, it's a good tire size for a stock truck and it's easy to find if you ever have a problem on the road.

D's are usually only load rated at around a 100 lbs less than E's if you check the specs on most tires. I have ran D's and E's.....couldn't tell the difference.

My BFG ATs are the same way, not that much difference between it and an "E" rated tire.

Wider wheels will help with the lose feeling. I have 285/75/16 and moved up from the factory width wheel to 8" wide wheels and that small change made a world of difference

I agree, no need to go bigger and introduce more problems.
