Hi-Powered LED revese Bulbs (Factory housing) = Awesome

Hi guys I just installed a set of these light and that are great!! They have to be almost 50% brighter than stock and dont cost much at $30. I highly suggest them in fact all my friends and family members want them now to.

Here is where I got mine 2pcs 3157 3156 White CREE Q5 5W LED 12 5050 SMD Backup Light Bulbs w Lens | eBay

if you get a chance, can you post a pic of the area they illuminate?

Have had a set of aux backup lights (chromium burners) sitting on the shelf for ~2 years and have never installed them. If these are a direct replacement, will get this and install the others to illuminate the bed.

Thanks for the info!

I tried to get a shot of the area they illuminate but it did not come out very well. I will try to find a better place to do it tomorrow. But they light all the way to my neighbors house across the street which is about 100' away. And they are direct replacements.

That is freaking awesome.

Bear Hunter got this idea going some time back:

but never really liked the idea of the lights hanging down from the rear bumper. They would surely get messed up there.

I have similar lights mounted the same place on mine and they have never been hit, and I beat the snot out of my truck off road.

Yeah, and I've scraped EVERYTHING on the underside of the truck, except those damn reverse lights I bought at a yard sale for $5

Here is another source for some different direct fit LEDs, for those that don't like ebay or want something different.

Gotcha. Old green has been buried in the mud a few times, and you know how these 2wd trucks sit lower and enjoy being stuck.....lol.

these look cool. may be time to start drop some hints about a possible xmas gift.....
