Converting E4od 2wd to 4wd

1991 E350 diesel ambulance is it possible to convert transmision to 4wd using 2000 Lincoln Navigator transmission as donor. As I understand E40od needs new output shaft, and housing to conect it to transfer case. Can theese parts from 4r100 used? Are output parts same for all fords or diesel are diferent because of torque. I understan conection with engine is diferent, but output? How about transfer cases, can a transfer case from other brand for example jeep grand cherokee conected with fords trasmission?
I know I just need 4wd e4od, but here in Europe its hard to find older fords parts, while about 2000 Navigator Escalade Grand cherokees is not a big problem.
Thanks

Those two parts will interchange between the E4OD and the 4R100. The output shafts are not engine specific, they are all the same.

The one thing that you need to look at is if your output shaft has a gear to drive the speedometer. The 4R100 doesn't have this.
