First breakdown on the new engine

Well,,, I'm in a gas station lot,,, she's smoking white I think,,,, Kinda black when I throttle it. Rough idle,,, ebp, baro, map, all within each other,,, (.5, I think is the spec). But when running,,, ebp is about 4psi over the others. I replaced the ebp tube, but reused the sensor. Not an excess amount of oil at tailpipe so I think my turbo seals are intact,,,, Power balance was smooth and inj buzz test passed. Fuel filters are at about 8500 mi,,, no fuel pressure gauge yet. Crank n cam sync is good. I am riding with a new set of all sensors, and a new injector,,,, but no vgt solenoid. And no turbo. I'm gonna put my coveralls on and replace the ebp sensor,,,, Takin advice,,, What do you all think it could be? Case of beer to the first to hit the nail.

I have had injector sealing issues after replacing my heads, hope thats not your problem but that smoking and no power then quit running seems familiar.

Exhaust pressure should be higher than MAP.

If you put the 6.4 banjo bolts in your new engine dont be to close to that filter housing when you engage the starter. I dont drink either but good luck.

Ok,,, I actually don't have an extra ebp anyways. But I have an extra new ford injector. But,,, I got a #2 contribution balance finally!!! I'm good with that. I'm gonna do the bubble test first tho. It's chilly here. Lol. It's the price I paid for not replacing all the injectors at rebuild. Oh well,,, at least I got 21k more miles outta the #2 inj. Should I do a writeup on an inj replace in 19* weather,,, lol.

I'm up too.

EBP should be within .5 psi of Baro and MAP at KOEO.

If the new injector doesn't cure the C/B code then at least you can rule that 603K mile injector out and not lose any sleep about not getting your moneys worth from that injector--LOL.

Very good guys,,, #2 was out. I got to change out the even side glow plug wire also. Kinda got stuck talking to a guy in a old Chevy pickup that was trying to talk smack about the blue oval. I fixed the truck n smoked his azz. She's purrin again. Kinda sux that I no longer have an extra injector.

I also plugged in my egr valve n laid it next to the oil filter housing. Should've done that a long time ago. Now I'm not getting any egr codes.

Good to hear. I been up reading vet stuff. Mokkun was sick again the other
day. He is up to a $3800.00 cat that includes his purchase price of $800.00
But I think I now have a good plan to help him stay healthy and no ER vet visits.
Going to talk it over with this regular vet in the afternoon. When you make it
up this way your going to have to meet all three of the kids (cats).

Anthony you are a mad man. You are the only one that I know that would be swapping injectors in a parking lot in the middle of the night lol. Good job on getting her fixed.

Anthony glad to see you back on the road. You are definitely one of the most prepared drivers on the road that I have seen.
