Furthermore, if the load put into the bed (or on the hitch) of a 1/2-ton truck causes enough suspension differential to cause the kind of issues you referred to given the facts already stated about the way Ford engineered the truck, one should reconsider the load being borne by a 1/2-ton truck.
you're confusing camber and caster, 2 different things. Take this to another thread, I'm not going to de-rail this thread anymore.

Well guys, caster, camber and articulation ARE important considerations to consider when doing a swap. IMO it's not off-topic at all. As for TTB vs SAS, I want the TTB set up because noone around here has done it! The extra beef of the D50 will be a bonus. Otherwise the D44 can be converted to HD with 8 bolt hubs or so I've heard. I will keep the coil springs up front for the ride quality they offer and new "beefed up" 1/2ton springs most likely from BDS. To keep everything on the level, a set of Air Lift 5000lb helper bags. I will have to custom fab the upper brackets for the bags because they "don't have an application for lifted vehicals."
I don't have access to fancy 3D modleing software so I guess it'll have to be a side by side cut and measure thing.
Greystreak, what's your opinion on longer radius arms on a TTB front? Waste of time and $$? It might help the frontend geometry, can't see it being much use with articulation.
