My first thought was that it made the 'truck' look like it was sticking out its tongue. I can't say that is what the 'builder' intended, but that is what I think, and I'm sticking to it!

If I'm not mistaken that Deutz diesel is air-cooled, I can't imagine where you'd find something like that. In the dump, maybe?
Correct, it is air cooled, 3 cyl.. One small belt carries the alternator and the cooling fan... I have a Ditch Witch 3610 trencher with that engine.. It's a hoss for a trencher, but I sure a the dickens wouldn't want it in a road vehicle!!!!

Edit: It looks like he worked overtime on getting the UGLY!!

Actually I've driven several vehicles with that engine - They were airfield utility vehicles
I would bet you a Beck's that little thing threw a rod when it saw what it was going into.

If you can't determine exactly what it is, I think we should nickname the truck "Julie"

I don't think so, I have a goatee, not a full beard and my hair is shorter.

Just remember Gary, I have the magic of photoshop I can wreak havoc on whoever, whenever I feel like it.
