Well, I guess we can call it a mini-GTG - Joey (from Dalton) and Scott (from Ellijay) stopped by while I started yanking the engine out of the F350. These are PSD guys who usually visit the '99-'03 forum. I went over to Scott's the other day and gave him a hand installing new injectors in his truck - but somebody said it takes (3) to call it a GTG....
Everything on the top-side of the truck is done, just a couple dozen bolts underneath and I can yank that sucka out!! No pics of Joey, Scott or me - but here's what I'm into:
This engine is gonna get cleaned up and put in the Excursion. Eventually I'll build an engine to put back in the dually.

Hey guys,
Been spending alot of time on the Winnebago, trying to get it livable incase I have to use her as a temp home sometime soon. If I get the promotion in the near future. I do not want to be waiting till the last minute getting the old girl road worthy. Plus she is in dire need of some updating. I hate the pink interior she came with from the factory. I am secure in my manhood but she needs a color change in a bad way.
If I was closer Jason I would have come over and helped. In the Army you only need 2 people for it to be a GTG !!!!
My truck is still on the list to get done, just a little farther down on the priority listing right now.

Good morning everyone,
I had one of my first big inspections yesterday. I got a commendable !!!!! There are a few areas that need some tighting up (nothing I could do because I was deployed) but over all was outstanding. Gathering up the stuff I need to hopefully finish the RV bathroom remodel/repair this weekend. I should also be done with the plumbing repairs too. The wifes pet baby calf is sick, hope he is going to get better. Rained all day yesterday. I know my garden loved it.

Engine is OUT! Pulling the dually out of the garage and cleaning up the engine today. I'm supposed to finally get the head gasket for my 'lil Daihatsu Rocky, ordere it 10/2 - it had to come from Japan... If so I'll pull it in today and feel like I'm playing with a toy compared to the PSD!
My #1 helper!!
Success!!
Hopefully putting this engine in my Excursion this weekend. GTG????

When the engine broke in this truck, I considered throwing a junkyard motor in it and selling it. Lets just say that didn't go over well with the boys... This is the only truck they've known me to have and they've literally traveled 1/2 the country in it. They KNEW I could fix it and they wanted to help! Here they are tearing down the old block before it went to the machine shop:
I smell like diesel all the time. Chicks dig it!
