No. Yesterday was the last day, now I can go back to being retired.

 

Sounds like a good plan. I may think about retiring in a few years.

 

Its nice being retired. Got tired of working on everyones house. I'll pick my jobs now. At my age that kind of work takes its toll. The factory work wore me out.

 

I am retired but still like going to work part time. Hope to do that for a few more years. Gets me out of the house and a little more money to play with.

I drove a tractor trailer for 20 years then they closed. I went to Komatsu mining Systems in assembly putting together off road mining trucks for 15 years. Retired in 03 and started doing handyman work till now. Its paid well for 9 years.

After I got out of the service. I worked in a sash and door factory for a year then NCR for 11 years then after 28 1/2 years I got laid off at Sanmina SCI. Enjoyed the work for the most part. Went on SS then part time at Lowe's.

 

I've got two pensions plus SS. My wife is also retired from Komatsu with a pension and SS. Retirement doesn't pay well but if I need to I can do handyman work.

I did a small stint with the Air Force in Southeast Asia 67-68. Thank you for your service as well

 

I was in the Army. Worked in a direct support unit in the Seventh Corps. Was a parts changer on a post of engineer companies.
