Fuel Bowl Interchange Question - 95 & 97?
My 95 350's got a fuel bowl that's leaking from a couple of different points and may have a pinhole in the bottom as well. I also have a pristine fuel bowl off a 97 350 that has the FPR assembly removed but is otherwise intact. I know that the plumbing is different (between reading here and simply looking at the two.)
Is there any way to use the 96-97 type fuel bowl with a 94.5-95 FPR/FPR filter assembly? Or do I have a spare I can't actually use?

OK , the only bowls I have left are 95's ..and the best one looks like there are hairline cracks where the FPR bolts to the bowl...So If I understand you correctly you want to install the 95 FPR on a 97 bowl ....Since I have the 95 in front of me and I am looking at a picture of the 97 before I Installed it in my van, it would appear that the only issue is removal of the metal line from the FPR to the bottom of the bowl and re-installing it in the 97 bowl ? If you PM me your email I can send you pictures of both .... so you can get a better idea what I mean

It turns out that you can swap the 94.5-97 fuel bowls - but you must take it as an entire assembly. You cannot do what I wanted, which was fit the 95's FPR to a 97 bowl. The 96-97 bowls have different external hard lines that the earlier FPR doesn't mate up to. The rest of the engine will mate up to either fuel bowl as an entire assembly just fine, you just can't necessarily swap parts like the FPR between the two types. Note that the 96-97 type bowl has a hard fuel return line that is just a barb fitting and a soft line on the 94-95 bowl. It's not compatible with the earlier type FPR. Moral of story: If you get a spare bowl, make sure you get the matching FPR with it.
