ID these brackets 63 Uni

I need help identifying these two identical brackets. I bought a project about half done. These brackets were painted to match the truck, but I don't know what they are for.

Photo's are now posted below

C3TZ-16864-B (replaced C1TB-16864-B) .. Hood Latch Support Brace / Right/Left is the same.

Applications: 1961/66 F100/750.

As the others have posted these are the center braces from the upper valance to the lower stone guard behind the grill. It adds reinforcement to the hood latch to prevent deflection on closing.

The capture nuts of which one is missing pick up the through bolts for the latch.

Photo bucket is about the simplest to attach a photo with! Post away on a build tread!
