please help me with maintenance on my 2002 F250 7.3

I just picked this project up a little over a week ago and i dont know any history on the truck because i bought it from an insurance auction, sadly there was no owner to chat with about any problems or any history.

i should probably treat this truck as if it needs a full maintenance head to toe. Do any of you guys have a 99-03 7.3 PDF manual by any chance, im assuming it would state what oils/liquids the truck needs.

things to do:

-engine oil changed (Shell Rotella Synthetic 5W-40)
-oil filter changed (Fram Tough Guard TG3786)
-fuel filter change
-trans fluid drain
-front and rear axle drain
-check brake fluid
-check radiator fluid
-check power steering fluid
-air filter replace
-check belts

if you have other suggestions please let me know, like maybe grease some suspension stuff?

also since my engine has 148k how do i know that its healthy, a compression check? and how do i know the turbo is in good working order?

the only modifications i see is the K&N Air intake, dont think there is any tune or anything else that is modified.

2 problem the truck has are:

-Engine light keeps coming on and then randomly off and back on, it shows throttle sensor, im assuming its by the gas pedal and needs a replacement?

-Drive seat motor isnt working or the switches are bad or a fuse to the motor, havent looked into that yet, but its annoying sitting so far back from the steering wheels lol

I would like to make this truck top notch and keep it for a long time, already passed the smog and the brakes and lights inspection and just finishing up the DMV paperwork before i can put the truck to good use, but i really want to do all the needed maintenance on it in order to avoid any future issues with it, since the truck is currently in un-known state.

The seat issue is probably a worn wire or switch. Just go through it all real good.

How much did you get this truck for at auction and was there any damage to the body or frame?
The pedal switch has an Idle validation switch and a throttle position switch. The IVS tells the truck to go to a low idle. TPS goes to the PCM to control the pulse width modulation of the fuel injectors for how much fuel to put into the cylinder.
You might want to rethink the K&N and go to something like the 6637 or the Ford AIS. The 6637 is the most economical at 79$ plus shipping.
The intake options are here.

Yeah shipping from there is a killer. That's how a lot of companies are doing it now. Lower the price to below cost and make up the profit on shipping. Ebay is notorious for that.

And Clay did mention a sale. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post12362554
