i just replaced an injector last night and after i got down i took it for a test drive and my tranny felt like it slipped then jumped back into gear and did it again. Then i seen my tow/haul light flashing so i stopped and shut off the truck and plugged my programmer in to do a dtc test and it popped some codes so i cleared them. i couldnt go fast at all, it would be at a high rpm. I googled what was happening and i read that the trans temp sensor could be bad so i went to my local store and got it and dropped the pan swapped the sensor out and filter and filled my tranny up with new mercon sp. i dont know what is going on???? it popped some speed sensor codes but they went away and i cant figure it ou. someone help please !!!
I had the same issue but my tranny guage wasn't working. Temp sensor fixed my problem. Did you disconnect batterys? If so I would think the computer prob needs to learn again.

I did do that and it did reset but it just doesn't shift right. I feel like it's a sensor doing it. Or why else would the light be flashing
The light is flashing because the gear ratio is wrong in the transmission. The other codes that were set would be a BIG help in determining what's wrong. I recommend you keep driving until the codes come back. Without the codes all I can tell you is that something is wrong.

Intermediate shaft speed sensor circ p0791 and intermediate shaft speed sensor circ no signal p0793 also it had one about friction element d
You need to electrically check both the intermediate speed sensor (located on top of the trans, about halfway between the front and back) and the wiring to the sensor.
Okay so I did that and it ran good for a couple of days so I decided to hook my edge ht tuner back up. I only run it on economy mode for better mpg. That's when it started doing it again. What could that be?
