Two trans coolers

I've been asked before how I got two coolers in there. Years ago I started out with a hayden cooler and it wasn't enough so I added the true cool. The hayden is down below. I have a appointment with John Woods on Nov 6th to get a new trans and asked him if he would put in a 6.0 cooler. He said there isn't room in ours for one, he would put in a true cool. I said I already had one so today I put new lines on them and cleaned them up. I had to take off the bumper to get in there so it was a good time for a picture.

Would a 6.0 trans cooler be better than the two you have there? That's a nice neat set up you have, why take it out?

I think I have plenty of cooling. I'm just wondering about them getting flushed out real good so they will not FU the new trans. I suppose I'm worring about nothing, John Wood will not allow that!

Good to here to have a date set for it Glenn. So JW just wants to put one cooler on it and he thinks that will be enough?

No Gabe, I was just asking about the 6.0 cooler he has on his website. When he said the true cool is the only thing that would fit in ours I just said that's what I already had. I didn't mentiion the hayden. When I get it down there I'm sure I'll be able to pick his brain to see if my setup is OK or what to do.

LOL Gabe, IDK, I'll mention it to him. He will probably see where I spliced into the wire harness anyway.

My guess is he will make you change the cooler to a new one anyway. I may be wrong, but I'm thinking he isn't going to want to take a chance on any contamination.

That may depend also on HOW much trash (if any)warranty is in the pan.if fairly clean flushing might do it.But for the kind of money invested, new coolers would be cheap ins. What about TWO trucools?in the present arrangement..
