I thought I would pass along some good news. I changed the setup on my truck (new heads, headers etc.) and before putting it away this past winter it had developed a terrible bog. I wrote the Edelbrock Tech line with complete specs; in a couple days they e-mailed with recommended changes (step-up spring, jets and accelerator nozzle size) and asked for my address. A couple weeks later a package arrives with the parts and no charge. I followed the recommended jetting changes and parts change and the truck fired and drove like a dream. Mixture is right on the money.
Most companies make pretty good products but I really appreciate it when they stand behind it after the purchase. No question on when I bought the carb just good advice. Anyway, just thought I'd pass the info on if anyway could use it.

I had an Edelbrock carb, sent them an E-Mail on a few problems, said I needed to buy a new one but the one I had was new and they had a few other rude comments. After a bunch of trial and error testing on my own I finally found a combo that worked on the street, they suck off road. The least thing and it floods. Bought a Truck avenger and now waiting for a jet kit to arrive to put the final tune on it. Won't buy another carb from Edelbrock, period. Simple but in my opinion a very **** poor design for any performance oriented engine combo. If you are taking it off road, good luck, even their so-called "off road" needle and seat won't keep it from flooding going uphill, fuel spillover problem. That's enough ranting, Good luck with it, maybe your's will perform better than the one I had.
