The f350 is a short bed according to the seller, looks long to me though, sd is long so im guessing they are almost identical. The 2ft of bed plus the longer sleeper matches the short bed short sleeper crew cab

you need the f-super duty (450) platform to start with.your out of the f350's tow rating.the 450 will have the gearing your looking for and will pull much, much stronger for ya.toss a banks turbo on that, and there's no stopping ya.

When was it mentioned that this was the practical solution? I'm not talking front and rear engines, I'm saying make yourself quad turbo charged W16 IDI and just melt the tires off it.

Buying my neighbors truck and goin from there. 54" stretch needs to be done and build my own sleeper. Goin 77" deep, 96" wide, 50" tall. Also doing an extention thats 24" deep that will go over the bed thatwill house the microwave, closet and home a/c unit and storage cabinet. Bed on the passenger side (54wX75l double) going front to back. Drivers side 2 chairs and a fold up table all back side then front side a mini fridge with freezer and a cabinet above it. Last trip cost 100 in ice alone, fridge is a must. The heat/ a/c unit, fridge and micro will run off inverter, under cab mounted batteries and solar panels ontop of the 101"x96" sleeper roof. Be able to run heat/air all night without runnung the motor. The distance between the bed amd table is about 16" so that will be good. Same distance between driver/passenger bucket seats.

The regular CC thing was sort of a joke, and a badly implemented one at that...

What your after could be done tastefully, but either one of those trucks looks like ***... but if its of no consequence to you, go with the 450, the extra capacity is where its at.
