I have a 2000 F350 Crew Cab Long Box. I am wondering if it is possible to swap out the current rear bench seat (back only folds forward) for a bench seat that would fold flat? I'd like to be able to put a couple of dog crates for our older dogs (14 yr male, 11 ys female Labs) back there.

I thought I saw something like this in the newer F350 Crews.

in 05 I believe what you are talking about that started in I think with a little bit of modifications you could put a 05 style bench seat in the rear but not completely sure never heard of it done. More people should come along and say weather it will work or not.

I actually wondered 2 things on this subject:

Would a fold down seat from say a conversion van fit in the back of a crew in place of the standard seat? if so that would be a nice place for the Dogs or even sleep while on a trip.

2nd....also wondered if the front seats with the center console would fit in the back for better comfort? and the power stuff...

 

I know the LE models have rear bucket seats from the factory. Got one next door. I thought it was aftermarket conversion, but it was an actual ford package. Someone sent me the blackbook on it. (Yes, blackbook, not blue).

The seats are the same as the front, but there is a different bracket. And the center console has another piece on the bottom just for aesthetics. My issue with those? No behind the seat storage. And the seats don't go up far enough to even see how to get the jack out. But for travel, it's pretty nice.

 

Since I never have passengers in the back of my CC...I pulled the back seat out so my labs could have more room. Now if I could just sell my back seat!!!
