Howdy Dylan, the move wasn't too bad, tho I had to drive this monster all the way across the country:

I would love another Bronco, I actually have a thread where I am looking at a few trucks. I want to try and get something with decent MPG tho, I'm trying to aim for mid teens. Sadly, there isn't much in my area that fits that description within a reasonable price.

I see. That's pretty cool still and it's good that the move went well. If you get something with a 300 that would be pretty fuel efficient. And it would have the power you need to pull stuff! Unfortunately that might require you to find one with maybe a 302? Then swap in a 300. You could get one with a 351 I guess and sell it or something.

I am looking at both an 83 Bronco with a 351w auto and a 93 F150 300/5spd. I really like the F150 as its a short wheel base 2wd wwitha manual. The owner replaced fuel pump and tank, starter and battery. Says the truck runs rough still, says its only a fuel filter.
I wonder why someone would put all that money/work into a truck and stop at a $7 fuel filter....I hope to get a closer look at it

Bumbitty bump. Today has been alright except I snapped a guitar string . It needed new strings but since I am very green to playing it I didn't want to have to replace them so soon. The tips of my fingers are just starting to numb up to the pain too. We have a local Guitar-Center about 20 minutes away that I'll visit. I want to see how much it would cost to get the strings and see if they think the neck is bent too much. I don't know how/want to adjust it. Messing it up would suck.

a day in the life of a trucker:
delivering a machine to the bank we are going to be doing tomorrow, and as i make the turn onto the street 300 yards away from the bank, something catches my attention. i look in the mirror to see smoke, and FLAMES pouring out of the back of the trailer. the FULLY LOADED TRAILER, WITH 3 PIECES OF MACHINERY ON IT.
one of the deck boards broke, a chain slipped through the hole, fell on the road, and under the tire.
it drug for about a mile before setting the tire on fire.
2 cops, 2 fire trucks, 1 ambulance, and a mess in the road.
i had the fire out with my fire extinguisher before anyone showed up, and it took less than 60 seconds for everyone to get there.
as i drove past the firehouse 200 yards up from the intersection, one of the firemen saw it and they were rolling before i even got the truck stopped.

Today isn't bad, left from work at 6AM and noticed a big puddle of oil under my bug. Freaked out about that for an hour or 2 till I went to bed. Woke up and started looking at it and couldn't get it to drip any oil. I'm starting to think some other poor sap lost their oil and I happen to park over it BUT I will need to keep an eye on that. Can't be too safe.
