I'm not sure why it matters but I live in Louisiana

 

It matters cause trucks on worth more in certain area. Say im in Texas and someone has 2000 others just like mine to choose from, my price goes down. I live somewhere where someone has a choice of mine or 2 others that are the same, there worth more.

It matters because depending upon where the truck is located; the final price can vary greatly. I can sell my truck in southern CA for “X” amount but if I take it back to my parents’ home in Wyoming I can get a few more thousand for it. Also, areas that have a significant winter that use excessive salt on the roads can even affect the price as the outside of the truck may look good but underneath it’s a rust bucket. That’s why you see people advertise a “sun belt” truck to let people know that the warm climate and good weather have kept the vehicle relatively rust free compared to others. With that said, your truck blue books (standard with no other stuff) in your area for 19.6K – 21.4K ( I guessed Baton Rouge but you can pick your location) If you go to Official Kelley Blue Book New Car and Used Car Prices and Values you can add whatever other features your truck has that we do not see. You will also notice that KBB also asks for your zip code because of the same issues I described above.
