It's ileagle around here.
When I was a kid we had them, there was a machine that heated them and put them in. Worked great on ice, but made the car drive like it was on ice when the roads were dry. You could also heat those suckers up when you got stuck, and sling them out of the tires.
Pretty much, you changed tires in and out. we mostly used chains.

I was thinking about studding my old tires that I have there for the winter then selling them before I move. Quite a demand out here. Same with chains. They sell them at the gas station here.

Nice find. The 7.3 probably not too hard to find, but a 6 speed. Those are rare unless you go aftermarket or find another rig that used the same box.

If the tires are studable (little holes) you need a stud gun to install them, they are legal up here

That's getting close to bed time.
Doc says this is "phantom nerve pain". feels more like I got nailed with 220 volts....... Someone put it on pulse tho.........
