TrueTrac Dana 44(HD) TTB and Springs

Hello,

Re: 1985 F-250, Dana 44HD TTB

The Dana 44 is going into the shop for a complete rebuild. I am going to put in a TrueTrac differential.

I was advised to also purchase Yukon Spring kit YSPSPR-001. If I remember right (not sure I do), this had something to do with the C-clip securing the axle not being able to slide in far enough to install the C-clip with the TrueTrac installed.

I have searched these forums and Googled the life out of this but I canít find instructions for how or were to install these springs. Was I misinformed about needing these springs and not being able to install the
C-Clip?

Rgds
