Is it worth selling or parting out?

So i have a 76 F350 Super Camper Special with a rebuilt 360 and rebuilt c-6. I've had it for sale on Craigslist for awhile, and had it parked on a major road for about a month now, so far I've got 2 calls, one from a guy wanting the trim and another from a guy who said "its a $500 dollar truck on a good day". I'm asking $2100 which i think is reasonable, due to how clean it is, and all the new parts, and the rebuilt motor/trans. i put

"im flexible on price, shoot me an offer" on the ad and on the sign in the truck but still got nothing. i have an ad in the classifieds on here to, heres the link:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-new-pics.html

heres the gallery, you can see from when i got it, to how it is now:

I used it for work for the past 4 years, but i don't really need it now, and i hate to just see it sit and rust away, it needs to be driven. I really don't want to part it out at all, but i have other projects that the parts and money could go to. Any idea's? Am i asking to much? seems like all the trucks in my area seem to run the gambit on prices so its hard to nail down what the going price is.

I would come get it from ya if we were close. I think someone will come get it or at least make a reasonable offer.

A month is not a long time for a classic truck. I think it took me over a year to sell my '78. Autotrader is how I finally did it.

Good idea on Autotrader and maybe Ebay as well. I guarantee you there is someone out there looking for a SCS and would love to have it. The online venues are great because it allows the customers that are searching for your product to find you and reaches a larger audience.

I never had much luck on craigs list, unless you keep it updated it ends up at the bottom. Big swap meets are the best place to sell where they have a cars for sale section.

Something I have found that works is to pull the ad and move the truck for a few days. People who see it every day think "I ought to stop and look at that" but zoom on by with their busy lives. The next day when the truck is gone, they think "I should have grabbed that while it was there". After a week or so, put the truck back out and you will get some hits. Works for me anyway.
