Pics of my 1966 F100 on the Oregon Coast

Here's my 1966 F100 with the original 352 and 4-on-the-floor. It was originally Wimbledon White, now Apple Red. Still has all the original glass but unfortunately the windshield cracked while re-installing so will be getting replaced soon. I'm still working on the interior. Will be redoing the upholstery and installing a radio. Also working on cleaning up and painting the engine bay. In the future I think I'll upgrade to some torque thrust rims with a size smaller tire. Also planning on finding a donor truck to upgrade to disc brakes and power steering.

I washed and waxed her today so we went for a photo shoot at a local spot here on the coast. Let me know what ya think.

No, they're just generic adhesive backed weather stripping that the previous owner used. Replacement seals are on the list

The photos were taken a couple miles north of Brookings at Lone Hill Ranch.

Thanks!

Welcome to FTE!! Clean and good looking truck inside and out!!. When it comes to installing the horn ring, suggest buying a couple extra horn contact brushes. Again, welcome and looking forward to your input!!.

I was wondering all what parts I'm missing for the horn to function? I just bought a Ford Falcon horn ring (pretty sure it will fit) because it was cheap & I'm going to paint over the logo anyways. There was a spring in the glove box that may be to the horn? Do you know the part numbers for the missing brushes? I'm going to be pulling the steering wheel soon to replace the turn signal switch, anything else I should replace while I'm there?

I pulled the instrument panel today and found out why my dash wasn't lighting up, the bulbs were missing! I have some LEDs on order. I also lubed the speedometer cable and now the needle is smooth as butter.

Thanks everyone!

I have lots of horn stuf...PM me for more info on what parts all go in there.

Parts to replace while the switch is out...I would recomend the upper and lower column bearings and sleeves...both available from Ford still...also if the rag joint is weak this would be the time to replace it...there are 2 possibilities on 66 though...need to know sequential unit number...

Welcome to FTE

I can't PM you, guessing because I don't have enough posts? Feel free to email me with steering wheel info. How would I know if the rag joint is weak?

Thanks!
