yello i got a 1987 f150 302 v8 4.9l 4 speed efi

well i started it up and turned on the lights dash turned on headlights n tailights turned on everything was normal. but when i pushed the clutch in to put in reverse the dash tailights and blinkers were all flickering at random intervals and eventually it just turned off. so now, when i turn on the lights only the headlights turn on, dash is off tailights and blinkers off. whats weird is that when i press the brake the tailights turn on, and when i turn on the blinkers the work perfectly turn on and everything.

so what all that leads me to believe is maybe the clutch was rubbing against one of the wires behind the instrument cluster? and eventually just cut the wire in half? what do yall think?
