which gear ratio do i have?
im planning to do a SAS (dana 44) on my f150
im not sure what gearing it has, where could i find this out?
1989 F-150 custom 4x4 5 speed 300 i6.

got the codes and they dont match the decoder. it says "M9" in the box for axle. what does this mean?

Are you sure that's not an "H" as in H9?
Bad angle on the picture but looks like a H to me.

The picture is a bit tough to see. Is the ''m'' really an ''h''. If so H9 usually means a 3.55 ratio with limited slip in this year truck.

I agree on the 'H'. The 'H' means that it's limited slip (if the first of the two digits is a letter, it's limited slip), and if I recall, the '9' means that it's a 3.55 ratio.

Why would they put 2.73's on my truck wouldnt 3.55s be better power/mileage balance?

For pure highway driving(unloaded) you have the optimal gears
