Then we moved up to the Glacier National park area in hopes of driving the "Going to the Sun Road" But it was not open
Next we are headed to S. Dakota stoping a couple places along the way. Stay tuned
Dang Wally, I wish I had known you were coming this way! You probably drove right past my house, LOL!
Nice pics BTW..
It would have been fun to meet you Scott. I'm a poor planner, I start out with a rough plan and wing it from there. You sure have some beautiful country up there.
Here another through the windshield as we drove through the "Badlands" of S. Dakota
My mom is visiting from Kentucky so I took her for a ride through Port Gamble. It is a Log Mill town established in 1853. Gamble Bay and Hood Canal in the background.
Thanks, joe, for the pics. It looks like you're running on empty on the little lonely dirt road.
That's something on my to do list. The gauges don't work anymore. I filled up with gas one day and they stopped. I must have a bad connection somewhere.
I have an app on my phone that I enter the mileage on fill-up. I would get gas at around 100 miles to be safe. My last fill-up, I actually got 14 mpg. I was shocked. The best before that was 11.8. We will see on the next fill-up.
Oh yes, nice drive through the country side. Then took my two nieces (19 and 11). The 19 yo thought she wanted to drive it until she watched me double shifting!
