Where is a good 4x4 shop in Indianapolis?

Hello everyone in the Indianapolis area! I'm looking for a good shop in the metro area. Any recommendations? Or warnings? Also, looking for a good mechanic that will be willing to work with me - installing custom parts that are beyond my skill level (low). Just tryin' to keep my orange baby rolling. Any advice will help!

Indyducks,

I don't have any suggestions for you down in Indy...sorry...there are a few active members from down in your area that will hopefully chime in for you...

I know of a couple of decent shops up here in Fort Wayne...but that won't help you.

I think the 4 wheel jamboree is down in Indianapolis from September 14-16, 2012...isn't it?...I have to believe that would be a good place to find a good shop?...not sure if you can wait until September though...

Good luck and hopefully some of the folks will chime in.

Joe.

Depending on what you are wanting installed, I have a small shop (not 4x4 directly but we do it all.) We are a Custom shop. But, I also know a Guy with a small business out near Anderson that does major 4x4 stuff, I can get his contact info if you would like. shoot me an email and ill reply once I get his info.

You might give Greg a call at Moonlight Automotive in Greenwood. Long story short I had to have a defibrillator put in & since then can not be around any welding. They do any fab work I need that requires welding but he is a full service shop. 317-535-0400. Tell him Steve with the pretty little primered F100 sent you. The pic in my avatar was taken right outside the shop. The black Hummer in the background is Greg's.

Thanks, Elgemcdlf! I'll keep the info. As I save up my cash, I'll be giving him a call!
