new here with a F6 coe
Hello everybody, I'm sort of new here on the FTE forum, hoping to get and perhaps give some info on our trucks.
Bought a 1948 Ford F6 coetruck with only 3000 mils on it. So you good say it's as good as new. Truck comes from the Belgium army (I am living in the Netherlands europe) and is almost never used.
It's a 6 cyl 4x4 but wanne make it a V8 aut dually 2 wheeldrive. Have a lot of plans with it as most of us so this will be a nice winter project.

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.
While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ghtsafter1.jpg
Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).
When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).
Your pic will be placed in the post.
Hope that helps.

OK I will post some more pics when I have the truck.
Bought it three weeks ago and have barely seen it. Hopefully
wil have the truck in the garage in about an other two or three weeks.
For what I know the ex belgium army truck is a Marmon-Herrington conversion.
This truck has been living almost his whole live in a depot and has barely driven. I would like to make a lowered v8 aut truck of it but from what you guys tell me I probably would think twice of doing this

Lets just say that there are them that would build you the truck you want and then trade for this one. (If) it is as you say it is.
I don't know how I am going to wait weeks to see pic's of her.
Is the pic in your Avatar the only one you have right now?
And where is the closest International Airport to you?
I want to price a ticket.

Thanks for the second pic coeboy. It's gonna be great when ya get her out in the light and cleaned up. Would be a real kick to drive it around for a time just like that I would think. Than sell it as is and that should give ya enough for a good start on the one of your dreams and it would be almost paid for. That's what I'm thinkin anyway.
