I have a buddy that had this truck a a farm truck told me that he has had it for years now and would trust it to go across the country with no problems it's an 1991 f250 ex cab Long bed 4WD 5.8L 5 speed I haven't seen the truck but he said I can have it.
Well I haven't been around much of this year model and was wonder what things I might be able to do to the truck to increase performance, power and mpg
I wanna make it a good daily driver with the ability to go off trail riding if I wanted to. Yeah it's a little long but hey who cares. I'll get pics of it soon to post up. If anyone can help me out with responses I'd appreciate it, James

 

Pretty much the same as the truck I have, as long as he took care of it and didn't farmer it all up, it should be fine for whatever you want. The 351w is a good motor, and has a TON of aftermarket support. There are a few guidelines to follow because the computer in it will only compensate so much when certain things get changed, such as there are only certain cams that work well in these trucks. The 5 speed should be a zf5 speed, which are pretty much bulletproof. If you intend on increasing power, don't intend on pulling better mpgs though...
