LEVELING KITS?

Okay I have been trying to figure out what kit I should get for my 2000 F-350 when I stumbled on these
Tuff Country 22962 - Ford F350 Leveling Kit - 2000-2004 2.5"

and

Adrenaline 2.5" Leveling kit 1999-2004 Ford F-250/F-350 4x4

why is the Adrenaline so much cheaper then the tuff country?
am i going to notice the difference in ride quality if i go with the cheaper one?

thank you

Ones a add-a-leaf setup and ones a spring pack setup. My opionion I would go with the spring pack, because the add-a-leafs can vary based on the motor. Gas it may sit higher than diesel. Thats just what Ive read. I have spring packs on mine (different company) and I couldnt be happier with them.

You might look at the Ford X-Code springs. They leveled my 02 f-250 and my dad's 99 F-350 and ride great.

I have the Tuff Country spring pack in mine. It rides firmer than stock, but not bad at all. Its 10x softer than my old Skyjacker lift, it rode like a dump truck!

Just to add some varaity to your search. I put the ZoneoffRoad 2.5 leveling kit on mine. Like above it rides a little stiffer than stock, but there package comes with the adjustable trac bar instead of just a bracket. Thats what sold me on theres. But my front went a little higher than the rear, so I had to change blocks around to get the look I was going for.

I helped my buddy put on the Tuff Country 2.5" leveling kit on his 01 F-250 7.3

Installation was pretty straight forward and lifted the front. He had to order 4" blocks for the rear though because it was sagging a little.

Took it for a test drive and they seemed fine. When a get the money, thats the kit I'm going with.

I have put a lot of lifts on over the years. Every truck is different. Keep in mind, no matter what lift you get for the front, you may or may not need to change rear blocks to tweak the lift to your exact likening. You may get lucky but don't be surprised if you do. The add a leaf will have the most chance of being innacurate as far as actual lift gained. An adjustable trac bar is a nice addition to any lift.

Yes, X codes would be a great option.

The X codes with give it a good stance and will drive like stock. My 03 f350 came from the factory with them, part of the snow plow package. I put a new set on last summer with a set of bilstiens

X Code Springs?

I am new here and this is the only place I found that has a similar problem to mine.

In June my 4X4 F350 4dr long bed (stock) was t-boned at the rear. The truck has 192,000 miles on it. I had to replace the rear leafsprings. I had B codes and replaced them with C codes from a truck with very low miles. I also added Firestone airbags while the bed was off. Now my truck has a very noticable rake. Everything I have research is steering me towards X code springs in the front. SD truck springs has the set for $281.12 shipped to my door. My questions are; since I put matching c code in the back, will that bring me close to level? Will I have to replace my (new) shocks? When I bought them there was only one option so I am assuming the difference between V and X code wont matter. Will my tracking bar need to be replaced? I am not looking to go crazy with a lift, just want to level it out. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

My stock X codes sat pretty level in my opinion, in relation to my stock rear springs. Thats why I put a new set on. I also did not want to go with any kind of lift kit. The X codes left it as stock as possible. I did a front end rehab last summer, new X codes, ball joints, axle ujoints, adjustable track bar, redhead steering box and new shocks all around. The X codes I had my local diesel shop order right from the local ford dealer and the bilstiens and adjustable track bar, I ordered from Cary T. at CT performance. He was very helpful. Look him up. So far I am very happy with this setup. Good luck

I've been running Maxxlift 2.5" minipack front and 5" rear blocks on my F350. Looks great and rides good.
