1988 e350 diesel swap
i am thinking of putting a 7.3 diesel in my 88 e350 motor home. anyone done it? any suggestions or tips greatly appreciated.

It's doable, but a very big job, that will take lots of time. You'll need to find a Diesel van for all the parts.
dual battery trays, Diesel rad, and support etc.
And as for power, you will dearly miss your 460! On the other hand, 55-60mph cruising speed and hitting 12-14mpg is awesome
That's what my '87 E350 motorhome gets.

it's 28 feet i have a lead on a 1991 e350 school bus with a 7.3 in it

While the engine is out of one van, you should freshen it up completely.
New injectors, Injector pump, fuel pump, return lines and T's, and glow plugs.
Then all gaskets as well.
Cause it's not fun doing major engine repair inframe on these diesel vans!
