That Studebaker M15-20 came with those 17" Budds from the factory. The Express bed was SRW, even with the dished dually wheels. This below truck was modified to make it a DRW. I've thought about doing this with one of my F-3 M-Hs that used the same 17" Budds. Stu

Very cool. Remarkably similar to the one I photographed 12 years ago at Walt's Pickups in Spokane Wa. He wanted ten grand for it and I was raising 4 kids on my own back then. Note that the M715 has same 6 lug pattern as ford f350s and those were 750x17s. The literature I came up with on the truck said they should have been 16" wheels. They would be nice wheels to replace widowmakers. Still multi piece though.

Can you still get widowmakers worked on? I wonder what Walmart would do if you showed up and wanted to have some tires put on them!

Walmart would have a stroke! Some old independent shops will still do them around here, but none of the major big truck shops. Too dangerous, and too many lawyers. Stu

Walts was high on everything. Thats why whenever I would go by there for years all the same trucks would be sitting there. I remember that STU if memory serves it was a tan or kind of greenish color. He did have some nice old trucks there though. I went in and talked with him once and it was clear he thought he had a gold mine there.
