I've got a 1970 302 with a 3 speed. I'm looking for a manual to help me with a rebuild. Anyone know where I can get one? Its a RAT H2. Thanks in advance.

I've found that many of these type of 3 spd have rear main out put shaft bearing failure. Fixed just by removing rear tail-shaft housing. You'll need snap-ring pliers & a gear/bearing puller a piece of pipe to install the new bearing as a driver over the main shaft. Use old bearing or lager washer against new bearing as not to damage it if pipe is to lager. Maybe pipe 10-12" long. Can't remember length any more..Replace front & rear seals. But if tranny is jumping out of gear then you'll have to pull it all apart.. orich
