I've had mine for over a year now. Filling up every two weeks has become the norm.

One real plus is the tank volume allows you to buy fuel when you want to instead of when you need to.
This was big during our recent trip where it seemed the stations in Mass were doing a little bit of price gouging. Just across the border in NH the prices 20-30 cents less.

I want to hear about the elk hunt! If you are hunting this week, that means you drew a limited entry tag. Congrats. Just remember, I got horses.

65 gallons just barely fills the auxillary tank, and the aft holds another 40 gallons. But, it really works nice for us as we now stop and take time for ourselves when crossing country. We used to stop and wait in line to fill up. We only make two fuel stops in 1800 miles of towing the 5th wheel. The rest of the stops are for us and the dog. But, it does shock you when one fuel stop can be $400.

Once you have a large fuel capacity you soon learn where the cheapest diesel is and take advantage of it. After our latest (8th) trip Kansas to Northern California we know all the easiest access and lowest price places to stop for diesel. The only two stops we make for fuel are consistently $.15-$.20 per gallon cheaper. Thou this may not change your lifestyle, when purchasing 80 gallons or more on these two stops it does save $12.50-$16.00 per stop. But, more than any fuel/cost saving is the mere convenience of not having to stop except when and where we want.

By the way for anyone traveling I40 crossing between Oklahoma City and Barstow the cheapest diesel is exit #108 in New Mexico and exit # 66 in Arizona. These are our only two fuel stops and they have the cheapest diesel year after year.

I just got back from the hunt. Shot a decent 5x5 bull on the last day of the hunt and I had more opportunies early on. It was a landowner CMU tag rut hunt with the rifle. The outfitter was Jim Sigg of Siggma Hunts out of Duchesne, UT.
