Found out that the hood ornament belongs to a 48 Buick Roadmaster. Don't care, I'm still keeping it on the truck!!!

got a little bit done today, rained until about 1:00...

got the frame painted and the suspension back in this weekend.





also got the grille painted and installed in the front clip. anybody know where those headlights came from? they were in a box in the cab of my parts truck, thought I would use them just for the heck of it...

yes, I have no idea what vehicle they came from, but I think I'm going to use them!

Heck Ya!! I would. They look good.
Something a bit different.
JC Witney had them back in the 60's and 70's for a lot of rigs.
It was the thing back then I guess.
