Headlights

I was browsing on eBay looking for either some lightning or Harley davidson edition headlights to put on my regular 2003 f-150 but I don't know what is good and what is junk that will fade or scratch or yellow or leak. I found these but I know nothing about them. Any help or info or suggestions on better places to look or better lights is very appreciated. Cost doesn't matter to me I just want some really good quality ones.

If cost doesn't matter, look at the hella stuff. Drivers | Hella USA and Canada

Those look pretty good, from the pictures of the back I'd assume the "oe standards" was correct. That's still really cheap, so buyer beware. On the other hand, the Hella stuff is top of the line and you can find the manufacturer if you need them to stand behind their product.

I've been looking for hella lights but the only ones I'm really finding in black are for 04 and newer f-150's

Was "revotec" the sellers name for yours? That is who is selling those black ones I posted a link to. How long have you had yours? Any problems with them like yellowing or scratches or water in them or hazing or anything?

finally looked at you link, sorry about that. THAT IS THEM. great light, perfect fit.
I THINK i ended up using Sylvania's brightest bulbs they make for our truck instead though.
Regardless, great product that everyone comments on. Much better look and such an amazing difference at night.

no yellowing at all. look great to this day! no issues, i never sealed them with silicone or anything, no hazing no leaking or anything. BUT, i would seal if i installed again, "just in case."
Good luck.

I don't guess you'd happen to remember what exact headlight bulb you use would you? I'm wanting to upgrade bulbs but don't wanna have to rewire anything or use relay. Think I'm gonna get some depo clear fog lights to.

Do you have silverstars in your fog lights to? How do you like the bulbs? What's the difference between silverstars and ss ultras?

not much according to the site...
$10 and 50 hours according to the tech specs from what i see.
I don't recall what I threw in the fog lights. I want to say i used "standard" bulbs in the fogs. They are so clear and reflect so well that I didn't see much need to upgrade.

pull the tech sheets on each.
probably all within 50 hours service life, $10 and 100 degrees.
