This is true.. Subaru are NICE! Id get one if I planned on doing any more auto crossing.
Im trying to remember which magazine it was.. maybe car and driver that reviewed the subaru impreza WRX and said amazing things about its overall performance.

I just couldnt decide if id want a subaru for autocrossing or those mitsubishi lancers.
Ive seen lancers run crazy fast 1/4 miles

Subie's are great cars and you cant beat the awd for daily driving from hot dry days to snowy ones as well as everything in between. Most people do not think of them as "4X4's" so they are not used off road or beat on very much. My 93 Impreza went 290k trouble free and I am sure it is still on the road now.

Subie's are great cars and you cant beat the awd for daily driving from hot dry days to snowy ones as well as everything in between. Glenn, if she's looking for something small the Subie is a good one for sure. On the other hand, it's certainly not as popular, but the Suzuki SX4 awd does real well, has an excellent service record and has a much lower buy in. I just picked one up 3 weeks ago. I drive 45 miles across the Canadian prairie regardless of the weather to get to work each day.
