When I pulled the rear tank on my 96 F250 last weak I destroyed the metal retaining clip on the larger fuel line. (3/8" line?). Picked up an assortment of Dorman clips at O'reilly's but I can't seem to get this clip to fit in the fuel line. It's Dorman part # 800-007 which is the 10mm or 3/8 clip. Looks like the piece is too long to slide in and snap in to place. Did I get the wrong clip or could I be doing something else wrong?

I'll try and post some pics when I get home from work.

There should be 2 seperate sizes...The 10mm and a 15?mm one..

I had to do the same thing when I swapped my fuel lines, etc out...Just test and see...A dental pick helps in removing those lil buggers a LOT
